What do you think of the Crayola Crayon Maker?
I finally bought the Crayola Crayon Maker from Sears Essentials for only $2.50 on sale. I didn’t want to have to buy it for $20 or more. Anyway, It only came with one mold for regular shaped crayons. The Crayola store only has 2 other different shaped molds. Does anyone know where I can find more? I’ve checked ebay and alot on the internet without any luck. I made a few swirly crayons with my kindergarteners yesterday and they thought it was the COOLEST thing! They will love making there own with leftover crayons during these last few weeks of school! My other question, have you ever used it? What did you think?

Sounds like a cool thing for classrooms!!! We usually used tiny cupcake or muffin tins to make ours back in school. I checked on the Crayola website for your exact question and this is what they had to say:
Apparently the vehicle and animal shapes were the only molds available. BUT I suppose if you melt crayons at home or the school cafeteria if they’ll let you, you can pour the mixtures into candy molds. They come in literally HUNDREDS of shapes and sizes. Good Luck!!!
