My grandma has books with crayon drawings from when she was a child – that goes back to about the 1920’s or earlier….and they still have their color.

They should last a long time, but to insure that, you should keep the pictures in a cool dry place. The heat of an attic will make the wax run or bleed into the paper and critters might find them a great material for bedding.
